Isla Nolan

Potion Descriptions
Potion of Growth:
When you drink this potion, you gain the „enlarge“ effect of the enlarge/reduce spell for 1d4 hours (no concentration required). The red in the potion's liquid continuously expands from a tiny bead to color the clear liquid around it and then contracts. Shaking the bottle fails to interrupt this process.
Bog Fire:
As an action, you can throw this flask up to 20ft, shattering it on impact. Make a ranged weapon attack against a creature or object, treating the flask as an improvised weapon. On a hit, the target and a random creature within 5ft of it take 2d6 Fire damage. The primary target is ignited for one minute, taking 2d6 fire damage at the end of its turn. If there is at least one creature within 5ft of the target at the end of its turn, one of these creatures, chosen at random, takes 2d6 fire damage. A creature can use its action to make a DC12 Arcana(Dex) Check to extinguish the flames.
Keogthom's Ointment:
This glass jar, 3 inches in diameter, contains 3 doses of a thick mixture that smells faintly of aloe. The jar and its contents weigh 1/2 pound. As an action, one dose of the ointment can be swallowed or applied to the skin. The creature that receives it regains 2d8 + 2 hit points, ceases to be poisoned, and is cured of any disease.
Potion of Watchful Rest:
A potion of watchful rest is a commonly used potion that grants alertness during rest to its user. Drinking a potion of watchful rest grants the user the following benefits for the next 8 hours:
- Immunity to sleep magic.
- The ability to remain awake during a shortrest and still gain its benefits.
This sweet, amber-coloured brew has no effect on creatures that don’t require sleep, such as elves.
Potion of Fire Breath:
After drinking this potion, you can use a bonus action to exhale fire at a target within 30 feet of you. The target must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The effect ends after you exhale the fire three times or when 1 hour has passed. This potion's orange liquid flickers, and smoke fills the top of the container and wafts out whenever it is opened.
Potion of Oger Strength:
When you drink this potion, your Strength score changes to 19 for 1 hour. The potion has no effect on you if your Strength is equal to or greater than that score.
This potion's transparent liquid has floating in it a sliver of fingernail from a Ogre
Smokebomb:
As an action, you can throw this smokebomb up to 30 feet away from you. On impact, smoke begins to billow from it, creating a heavily obscured area within a 10 foot radius and a lightly obscured area for a further 5 feet. This smoke dissipates after 1 minute, or until it is blown away by some external means
Potion of Faerie Fire:
This thick viscous fluid rapidly disperses when in contact with air and coats an area around its point of impact in glowing particles that make it hard for creatures to hide. As an action, you can throw this flask up to 30 feet. It shatters on impact and for the next 10 minutes, a 15-foot cube around the point of impact is wreathed in dim light. Any invisible creature in the area becomes visible and can't turn invisible there.
Additionally, creatures in the 15-foot cube when the flask shatters must make a DC15 Dexterity saving throw. A creature that fails its saving throw is coated in glowing particles. The next attack roll against that creature has advantage and the creatures stealth checks have a -10 modifier until the particles glow out after 10 minutes.
Potion of Night Vision:
When you drink this potion, you have darkvision out to a range of 60 feet for 8 hours. This yellow liquid swirls inside its bottle and elongated dark bubbles rise to the surface.
Potion of False Life:
This black, swirling liquid grants you 3d4+3 temporary hit points.
Potion of Swimming
When you drink this potion, you gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed for 1 hour. During this time, you have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks you make to swim. The potion is separated into teal, light blue, and indigo layers resembling a deep ocean. Shaking the bottle fails to mix the colors.
Vial of Moon's Essence Potion
The vial has a faint silvery glow. You can use your action to pour the entirety of this potion on a weapon you are holding. That weapon deals magic radiant damage instead of its normal damage for the next 8 hours.
Scale Essens
When drunk, the user must roll a d20 to determine it duration. A 1 is 1 minute, a 2-10 is 30 minutes, a 11-19 is 1 hour, a 20 is 8 hours. Once drunk, this potion grants the user +1 AC and resistance to slashing damage, as well as a specific damage type depending on the dragon scale used in the potion.
A dark colored liquid, taking on the color of the dragon scale used in the potion, and you get resistens to the dragon elementel type.
