Attunement Melder

Befindet sich auf Koordinate 47-24

The attunement melder is a magical object of great mystique and power. The table is positioned on a dais of rock in the middle of a pool of molten lava and surrounded by 6 Obsidian pillars humming with arcane powers. Elven runes are carved into the podium and glow along the inside of the pillars.

The table can be fed with powdered gemstones to fuel the process of harmonizing their magical energies. Two magical objects requiring attunement can be placed on the table to combine their enchantments into one. Additionally a new vessel for the enchantments has to be crafted. This is done using rare and expensive materials and the objects to be combined. The amount of ingredients depends on the power of the enchantments and is fixed by the strongest one involved.

Combining the two enchanted items into a single new item results in an increase in the power of the enchantments.

See the table below to find the cost for the components to combine two enchanted items. The rarity column refers to the highest rarity involved in the melding process. The resulting set's rarity is one degree higher than the highest rarity of the original enchantments.

Rarity Cost Resulting Rarity
common 500gp uncommon
uncommon 1.500gp rare
rare 3.000gp very rare
very rare 6.000gp legendary
legendary 12.000gp artifact

The enchantments of worn equipment(like jewelry, cloaks, boots, or armor, but not shields) can be combined. No weapons, casting foci, shields, or other handheld tools can be combined in this way.

You can only combine enchantments of different effects with this process. Combining enchantments that provide a bonus to the same stat will also not stack, but only the highest one will remain. For example, you could not combine a cloak of protection and a ring of protection (or two cloaks of protection) with one another. Their bonuses would not stack. Similarly, combining a stone of good luck with a cloak of protection would give you an enchanted item that provides a +1 to skill checks, saving throws, and armor class, but not a +2 to saving throws.

What counts as a wearable item is ultimately up to the DM-Team to decide. In general, if an item has to be held while using it, it cannot be combined.
